This item is in copyright and rights have been transferred to the Seattle Public Library. Although some of Mr. Lenggenhager’s photographs were published in the Seattle Times and in historical books such as “The Look of Old Time Washington” and “Where the Washingtonians Lived,” the majority of his photographs are presumed to be unpublished. Unpublished works have a copyright term of the life of the creator plus 70 years. Since Mr. Lenggenhager died in 1988, the copyright term for his unpublished work will expire in 2059. Published works will remain in copyright 95 years from the date of publication. The library has made this photograph available for educational and non-commercial use.
